Preparing for a Hen Do with Fibromyalgia

I'm not going to lie, I've got an insanely busy few months coming up. As someone who is used to spending a lot of time alone, this is genuinely so different to my normal life, but I'm so happy about it! I did a quick post earlier this year going over some of the things I've got going on this year, so I thought I'd share some posts about how I'm preparing for these with regards to my fibro.
First up I've got two hen do weekends for two amazing bride to be's this year. I am so excited and crazily happy that I've been asked to attend. I've got one in Benidorm and one in Leeds, and they're both going to be jam packed with activities to make it an unreal time. But with this comes a lot of preparation on my end, to make sure I know I can have a fantastic weekend without a dreaded fibro flare. Whilst I'm fully expecting to need a bit of recovery after, I'd like to try and make it through both weekends without a flare up.
1. Start Preparing …

Pins Galore - Old English Company*

Hi, my name is Abbey and I have an obsession with stationery.

Can anyone else remember being back at school, the summer holidays are coming to an end, and even though you really don't want to go back, the prospect of getting some new stationery made it just that tiny bit more bearable. I lived for the annual shopping trip to buy new everything ready for the new school year, and stationery was my favourite part.

I love nothing more than looking at new notebooks, fancy pens, little keepsakes perfect for work desks - it may be because whenever I buy some new stationery, it makes me feel like I have a little bit more of my life together.

Old English Company is full of amazing items that I think are just beautiful - I wouldn't need to make a wishlist, it's basically just the whole website! While stationery will always be my one true love, the Enamel Pins really caught my attention. I found myself giggling away at some, noting down others that would be the perfect gift for friends and family, and even spotting some that I think perfectly embody fibromyalgia - I especially love the 'The No Sleep Gang' pin, I'm sure a lot of fibro warriors will appreciate that! I feel like there's a pin here for everyone, and for every occasion too. I'm having visions now of my work lanyard being covered in these pins!

I also really love this pin too, the motivational ones are really great. I'm a sucker for a motivational quote, and I feel like this will be very fitting for a lot of people out there! I think these would all look perfect pinned to a leather jacket or on a handbag strap, adds a little something to your outfit and a great conversation starter!

Currently, there is an amazing competition where you can win a set of three enamel pins, score! You can enter the competition here, you've got until the 30th May 2018, plenty of time! One of my favourites 'The No Sleep Gang' pin is one of the pins you win - and the other two are fab too, very girl power to me, and you can never have enough girl power.

Let me know what pin is your favourite!
