Preparing for a Hen Do with Fibromyalgia

I'm not going to lie, I've got an insanely busy few months coming up. As someone who is used to spending a lot of time alone, this is genuinely so different to my normal life, but I'm so happy about it! I did a quick post earlier this year going over some of the things I've got going on this year, so I thought I'd share some posts about how I'm preparing for these with regards to my fibro.
First up I've got two hen do weekends for two amazing bride to be's this year. I am so excited and crazily happy that I've been asked to attend. I've got one in Benidorm and one in Leeds, and they're both going to be jam packed with activities to make it an unreal time. But with this comes a lot of preparation on my end, to make sure I know I can have a fantastic weekend without a dreaded fibro flare. Whilst I'm fully expecting to need a bit of recovery after, I'd like to try and make it through both weekends without a flare up.
1. Start Preparing …

Autumn Fashion Wishlist

You just need to look at my social media to know that Autumn/Winter is my favourite time of year. I'm sucked straight into the life of cosy jumpers, candles, hot chocolate and of course, a pumpkin spiced latte! I love everything to do with this time of year, but one of the best things is the Fashion! I thought I'd put together a short list of just some of the items I'm lusting over right now!

1. Every year I say I'm going to buy myself a Mac like this one, and yet here I am still living without one! To me, they're the perfect jacket for that in between weather, when you're not sure on whether you'll be too hot, too cold or soaked through by the end of the day! (x

 2. Anyone else just become obsessed with tartan as soon as the colder months hit? Not sure I could actually pull these off if I'm honest but they just look fab! (x)

3. Okay this is a bit of a cheat because I've actually already bought this. I can't wait to wear it, it's fast become my favourite Autumn wardrobe piece and I've not even worn it yet! (x)

4. Oversized jumpers are just the comfiest thing ever, honestly as I'm writing this I'm getting so excited thinking about it being cold enough to be wearing jumpers everyday! I love neutral colours like this too. (x)

5. Mustard is so in right now, and I love that this dress has just a little hint of it. I think it's a perfect dress to get a little bit of Autumn style at work, without it being too in your face. (x)

6. You cant have an Autumn wishlist without including a scarf! I always get new hats/scarves/gloves every year to fit in with my colour scheme for that year - yes I do take my autumn wardrobe that seriously! I really want brown and cream this year and I think this scarf fits perfectly (x

7. I love the jumpers New Look have every year, I think I always buy at least two each time they come round! This is one of many on my New Look wishlist, I just love the red in this, and the little stripe of pink too. Hoping this ends up in my wardrobe soon! (x)

8. Like I said before, mustard is a fab colour right now, and this jumper just looks so soft and cosy! (x)

9. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan all year round, but the colder months just bring it out so much more! I think its the Halloween and Christmas scenes, I just want to watch them every weekend with some pizza and hot chocolate wearing PJs, especially these ones! (x

10. Christmas is party season for me, because I love this time of year I end up planning so many different social events, it's difficult finding a free weekend once November hits! This green dress seems perfect for getting together with friends around the festive season, it's such a festive colour! (x)

And that's my Autumn fashion wishlist! Just a quick one, we'd be here all day if I went through my dream Autumn wardrobe! Is there anything that is a staple in your Autumn wardrobe?

Abbey xx
