Preparing for a Hen Do with Fibromyalgia

I'm not going to lie, I've got an insanely busy few months coming up. As someone who is used to spending a lot of time alone, this is genuinely so different to my normal life, but I'm so happy about it! I did a quick post earlier this year going over some of the things I've got going on this year, so I thought I'd share some posts about how I'm preparing for these with regards to my fibro.
First up I've got two hen do weekends for two amazing bride to be's this year. I am so excited and crazily happy that I've been asked to attend. I've got one in Benidorm and one in Leeds, and they're both going to be jam packed with activities to make it an unreal time. But with this comes a lot of preparation on my end, to make sure I know I can have a fantastic weekend without a dreaded fibro flare. Whilst I'm fully expecting to need a bit of recovery after, I'd like to try and make it through both weekends without a flare up.
1. Start Preparing …

My 2019

Hello everyone! I'm back on my blog after a bit of time off during January and I'm raring to go! I briefly mentioned why I took a hiatus in a post here, however I do plan on having a post or two to delve further into it, especially how these big events in my life affected my fibro!

I thought I'd start with what else I have coming up this year to get be back into it! This is a pretty busy year for me, with plenty of time still to get a few more bits booked in too! It's likely really going to push me fibro wise, but they're all such huge and exciting things I simply can't miss out! I'll be sharing some posts on how I'm preparing myself for them all too, to share just how much I have to think and plan before doing some pretty normal things!

Hen Do's
So first up, I have my first ever abroad hen do for my "twin" and I can't wait! I've never even been on a girls holiday to the usual Magaluf or Ibiza, I don't know how I've gone this long without one! It'll definitely be a big shock to the system I think but it's going to be such a fab time and I'm honestly just so pleased that my friend wants me there too! We're off to Benidorm, I can't wait to share a post with you all about how I'm prepping myself for it, and also a few photos of the hen do itself!

Okay, probably the biggest thing ever this year, I'M GOING TO DISNEYWORLD FLORIDA!!! I honestly can't even believe this is actually happening, I've been waiting so long to go, now I am going it doesn't feel real! It's taken me a while to really get into planning etc because of everything going on at the end of 2018 but we've recently made our reservation to have dinner at Be Our Guest and now I'm constantly checking the app looking at all the food I'm going to eat. Again, I'll do a post or two all about this as I'm having to really think about how my fibro will hit me once I'm there.

I Do's
So following on from the hen do this year, I also have two weddings to attend! Both weddings are for amazing couples, I'm so excited and honoured to be invited. I absolutely love weddings, there's a part of me that would love to be a wedding planner, the only thing putting me off is how stressful it can be! So the fact I have two this year has me so excited, and just getting to see my two close friends start a new chapter of their lives has me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside!

It's also the year of my 25th Birthday, which makes me feel so weird because I still don't feel old enough to not be at school! It feels like yesterday that I was sat in my Sixth Form common room having a laugh with my friends, and yet here I am, an actual adult. I still haven't decided what to do for my birthday, it's been ages since I've had a party of some sorts. Maybe my quarter century is the perfect birthday to throw a party!

So these only cover the really big things going on, and honestly all of these are happening within the first 7 months! I'm normally not one for making huge plans, I'm usually always too worried about what will happen to my fibro symptoms to do what I want, but I've decided 2019 is going to be the year I do everything I want to do!

I've also already got a few Afternoon Tea ideas ready to book, I can't wait to share some more posts all about them! I'm hungry just thinking about them. So yeah, this is my quick post just to give you an idea of what's to come in 2019 from me following my blogging break.

I'd also love some ideas for fibromyalgia posts - if there's anything you'd like to know, or have your own story to share just let me know (you can tweet me here, give me a message on instagram or leave a comment on this post), as I'd love to share more fibro stories!

Let me know what your big 2019 plans are!

Abbey xx
